We believe that Jesus has called us to “go and make disciples of all nations.” We get to partner with organizations that commit to coming alongside the disadvantaged and exploited and pave the way to ending the cycle of global poverty.
The unwavering support from Trinity Church has significantly impacted local El Salvador communities. In October of 2023, our community was able surpass the fundraising goal of building 30 homes, raising enough to build 32.5 homes. This surplus ensured that even after our departure, the Shelter team would continue building, providing homes for nearly three additional families.
We are so excited to be going back to El Salvador in October 2024 with two trips and the goal of building 40 homes! We continue to seek the heart of Jesus to practically invest in the individual and community transformation of communities in El Salvador. We hope that you will join us as we seek to go on Mission as a church!
Our first responsibility is right here in our own backyard, the beautiful place we call home. We have partnered with various non-profits including Central Okanagan Food Bank, Kelowna General Hospital, Helen’s Acres Community Farm, Green Bay Bible Camp, and more!
International missions
As a church, we support over 25 organizations where our goal is to make a change through practical and spiritual work. Through international missions, we are able to plant churches, provide resources to communities in need, and more.
We’re looking to fill over 400 positions on our Sunday Summer Stuff teams and we need your help – commit to one Sunday or multiple! Join us in creating a positive impact for the next generation this summer!
We believe that God is doing great things at Trinity and we want to continue to move towards being the healthiest church we can be. Our goal will be to clarify the following questions:
1. What is our God-inspired mandate at Trinity (mission)? 2. What motivates us (values)? 3. Where are we going as a church (vision)? 4. What must we strategically focus on in the next few years?
